Your mission
We are currently looking for an experienced QA Lead to play a key role in driving our company´s QA processes and culture. We are growing rapidly and have come to the point where we need to create a separate QA department, in order to create comprehensive testing processes and ensure that the efforts of our testers are meeting business needs. We are aware that a strong QA culture cannot be introduced by just one person. Beyond the processes, it’s a mindset that needs to be adopted by all developers. Your mission will be to initiate, influence and drive this behaviour. In particular, you will:
  • Develop and implement QA processes and procedures in collaboration with your team and developers
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of QA testers and software testers, and mentor them to grow 
  • Ensure that the team meets expectations and deadlines, keeping an eye on priorities and ongoing projects
  • Play an active role in testing, and coordinate bug fixes and software enhancements with development teams.
  • Act as a QA culture ambassador with the development team
  • Maintain detailed documentation related to the software or system, to provide developers and engineers with vital information about software performance and issues, and to be used in future development work. You will thus ensure that systems are adequately tested and that all use cases are accounted for.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Head of HR to enable and support the further growth of the QA team, to ensure that the quality needs of the organization are met
Your profile
  • You have extensive experience with test case management, test automation, performance testing, UI testing, and release management
  • You stand out with your great communication and influencing skills, and proven ability to drive change with a positive attitude
  • You are a deep understanding of testing processes and tools and a passion to make them more efficient
  • You are structured, and have great scheduling and management skills
Nice to have:
  • You have experience with Machine Learning, Computer Vision or real-time 3D graphics

*The remuneration for the position advertised above is fixed by Austrian collective agreement. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher.
