Your mission
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, who will work with one of our exceptional development teams, implementing projects for our Tier 1 customers and to oversee our day-to-day operations. You will be part of a global company operating in Europe and the US market, collaborating with our customers, product management teams, product owners and agile development teams. You will be supporting our team in planning, optimizing and prioritizing, to ensure that our project deliverables are aligned with the product roadmap while accomplished within time schedule and budget. You will also be an ambassador of agile project management methods who takes care of their implementation based on the best industry practice. 

In particular, you will:

  • Plan scope, schedule and milestones in alignment with our R&D roadmaps and professional services capacities.
  • Manage several projects simultaneously from start to finish.
  • Ensure development remains within budget, identify and address potential risks, solve quality issues and optimize resource allocation. 
  • Drive improvement of internal project management processes: in our friendly agile teams, your expertise is valued
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track the progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Your profile
  • Your interest in the area of machine learning, geospatial data, 3D computer graphics and reconstruction of our planet is necessary.
  • You have several years of agile project management experience in software development
  • Your great communication skills and strong customer orientation enable you to collaborate smoothly with our Tier 1 customers.
  • You have proven you ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects 
  • You have strong presentation and negotiation skills 
  • You maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals and missions.
  • Good working knowledge of JIRA (or similar systems)

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study, ideally software development
  • PMP or other certifications would be a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills

*The remuneration for the position advertised above is fixed by Austrian collective agreement. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher.
