Your mission
As Field Sales Engineer, your mission will be to discover our prospective customers’ articulated and unarticulated needs and sell the unique value of the Blackshark.ai platform that will empower them to achieve their desired business outcomes.  It’s a great opportunity to champion a disruptive technology with Tier 1 customers and use your curiosity and versatility to work across many different use cases.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define the solution strategy that highlights our differentiation, and lead end-to-end technical engagement with enterprise prospects by effectively demonstrating the capabilities of our solutions and articulating relevant and compelling business use cases.

In particular, you will:

  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to understand requirements and business challenges of our prospects, and develop the adequate solution strategy
  • Help assess the technical fit/feasibility of customer requirements, communicate customer feedback and needs to product and engineering teams, and help design innovative technical solutions that translate the needs of prospects into a compelling vision
  • Lead powerful customized technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, proof of concepts that clearly communicate the uniqueness of our value proposition and how it can empower our customers to achieve their business objectives.
  • Respond to technical objections, tailoring your message to the different audiences and stakeholders, bringing ideas, challenging and engaging customers, and guide them in their decision making 
  • Translate customer application/use case requirements into Blackshark.ai solution designs, reference architectures, demos, and project proposals
  • Collaborate with the Product team to prioritize new product features and enhancements with a customer-centric approach, and liaise with all departments to provide consultative technical expertise for all customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain a deep understanding of the product and the competitive landscape.
Your profile
  • You have 3-5 years experience in Sales Engineering
  • Your consultative selling approach enables you to uncover customer’s stated and unstated needs and to leverage the uniqueness of the proposed solution relating to customer value.
  • You have excellent presentation skills and can convey complex technical ideas in a clear and compelling way to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You have practical experience or an affinity for Geographic Information Systems, 3D, Machine Learning and/or software development
  • You are self-motivated and possess strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
  • You thrive in a highly dynamic team and environment.
  • Ideally, you have worked previously with Geospatial / Computer Vision companies

*The remuneration for the position advertised above is fixed by Austrian collective agreement. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher.
